Tällä kertaa mulkaisimme taas hieman miesten kosmetiikkaa. Parturini tarjosi viime kerralla minulle uutta hiusgeeliä vanhan tilalle.

… takaa täynnä kaikenlaisia sanontoja, jotka on muokattu tuotetteeseen sopivaksi. Four Reasons hiusliimaa kehutaan pitäväksi ja helpoksi muotoilla.
Liimaa laitetaan ensin käsiin noin herneen kokoinen määrä. Liima hierotaan sitten sormiin ja levitetään kuiviin tai pyyhekuiviin hiuksiin. Sormilla voidaan sitten muotoilla hiukset sellaisiksi kuin haluaa.
Levitin aineen hiuksiini ohjeistetulla tavalla ja aine levisikin sinne varsin mainiosti. Tässä vaiheessa kyllä tuntuu siltä, kuin aine imeytyisi hiuksiin ja katoaisi jäljettömiin eikä pidä hiuksia ollenkaan. Kuitenkin jonkin ajan kuluttua liima kuivuu ja saa hiukset kovettumaan siihen asentoon missä sitten sattuvat sillä hetkellä olemaan (eli jos laitat paidan päälle vasta levittämisen jälkeen niin voit olla varma ettei hiukset ole enää niinkuin ne tarkoitit). Hiukset jäivät siis jäykiksi ja koviksi. Pitoa kyllä löytyi mutta pehmeämpää lookia hakevat joutuvat vielä hellästi harjaamaan hiuksensa kuivumisen jälkeen.
Entäs sitten tuoksu. Tästä täytyy nyt kyllä todeta, että tuoksu on aika makea ja voimakas. Tuotteen sivuilla luki, että tuoksu on päärynäinen. Jos et pidä vahvan makeista tuoksuista, en suosittele tätä. Olen nyt käyttänyt tätä jonkin aikaa ja ollut tyytyväinen kaikkeen muuhun paitsi tuohon tuoksuun.

This time we had some men’s cosmetics to review. My barber suggested me another brand when I was there last time.
The hairgel or apparently the hairglue (really!) is called Four Reasons . On the front and…
…on the back of the tube there is many slogans that had been modified to fit for this glue theme. They say that Four Reasons hairglue is holding strong and it’s easy to form to your liking.
You put an amount similar to a pea of glue on your hands and then you spread it in your hands and then on your dry or towel-dry hair. You can form your hair with your fingers just as you would like it to look like.
I spread the glue on my on as it was informed and it really spread rather easily. On this stage it feels like it vanishes somewhere in your hair and doesn’t hold at all. After a while it will dry out and then it’ll make the hair harden to the form they were at that point (so if you think of putting your shirt on after the glue, not a good idea). So, the hair stayed very hard and stiff. If you want a softer look, it would seem to be better to brush your hair gently afterwards.
What about the scent? I have to admit that the scent of this hair glue is rather sweet and strong. I read from a site selling this product that the scent is like a pear. If a sweet and strong scent is not for you, then this might not be a product to your liking. I have been using this for a while now and I’m otherwise satisfied with it but the scent is maybe something I’d like to change.
